Lostonians showcases dynamic soundscapes born out of live interactive composition. Beginning in 2015, guitarist/composer David Goodrich and drummer/composer Peter Van Dyck began sharing new music in informal weekly sessions. Soon this practice developed into a process of spontaneous composition, with each musician bringing their years of experience to bear on the creation of immersive soundscapes. Raw, immediate, and dynamic, the music ranges from dense to spacious and from explosive to a whisper, while foregrounding a creative process of active, interactive listening and bold experiment.
